Making Waves in the Kiwi Partner Channel
LAB3 joins government marketplace in NZ
Five months since opening the doors to our Auckland office, LAB3 are already making an impact on the Kiwi partner channel. We have been officially added to the list of certified suppliers for the government marketplace for cloud transition services.
This opens an approved government channel for LAB3’s advanced ready-made solution frameworks which require only minimal customisation including Dr Migrate, Bedrock, Modern Data Platform, Security Fusion, and Security Insight.
These solutions have already been quickly taken up by leading New Zealand enterprises including a large trans-Tasman bank, a leading wealth management firm and a major metropolitan NZ transport agency.
“It has been a thrilling entry to the NZ market. Our early success is a testament to the ability of LAB3 to scale through repeatable IP and bringing our advanced technology expertise to every client engagement,” says David Boyes, CEO LAB3 New Zealand.
The LAB3 approach to cloud transformation is founded on “automation first” principles to ensure delivery of an enterprise-class cloud capability, safely, rapidly and at scale.
Assured of certainty and value, clients are bringing their cloud migration plans forward. “LAB3 has been expanding our Auckland and Wellington presence, and our team is growing in both major cities,” says Boyes.
A critical element of the LAB3 success story has been mapping the right people to the opportunity regardless of location.
“Hybrid work models and virtual delivery enable LAB3 to deploy our 250+ strong Australia-New Zealand workforce to the benefit of our clients wherever they may be and wherever our people might be. Although we always work to establish a strong local on-the-ground connection,” says Boyes.
Leading the local team in New Zealand are client executives and industry stars Christina Wells and Jennifer Simmiss. They have signed on to bring their extensive experience in the New Zealand partner channel to offer the Kiwi market a genuinely revolutionary approach to cloud transformation.
“Once clients see LAB3’s extensive product suite across cloud, security, data and IoT – they get it. Together we can make realising the benefits of Azure easier, faster and more secure,” says Christina Wells, Senior Client Executive LAB3.
Being present on the Government Marketplace for cloud transition services is about making it easier for the public sector to engage LAB3 for services and further solidifies our commitment to New Zealand.
“At LAB3 we invest in everything as code, repeatable IP and packaging our solutions as products. This provides a truly unique answer to the common but complex problems our clients face when moving to and operating in the cloud. We are not about throwing bodies at problems and charging for every hour. We solve hard problems with our leading technology, enabling us to scale quickly and give confidence to our clients that they are in very good hands,” says Wells.
Simmiss agrees. “All we need is that first meeting. We usually find that NZ enterprises are excited at the possibilities our unique approach at LAB3 gives them. It feels to us like they are saying that finally someone has done it.”
