Across Australia and New Zealand, Microsoft And LAB3 Are Touring In-Person Cybersecurity Learning Events On The Evolving Impacts Of AI
LAB3 and Microsoft have partnered to tour a series of in-person presentations and panel discussions on Cybersecurity in the Era of AI to help business leaders and IT professionals expand their knowledge on modern cybersecurity threats and measures.
The presentations will cover the evolving impacts of AI and new challenges facing business leaders and IT teams, including threats, defences, and the cybersecurity skills gap. There will also be a demo of Microsoft Copilot for Security.
Cybersecurity is a major area of concern for every business leader and IT professional tasked with protecting not just their organisation’s reputation, but the personal information of employees, customers, and the people and communities their organisation serves.
LAB3 Principal Security Technologist Ankul Bhardwaj will be a keynote speaker, along with several Microsoft experts across the tour venues. Ankul has worked across highly regulated fields such as federal government and finance, and has been architecting and implementing cybersecurity solutions for global organisations for over fifteen years.
“Cybersecurity attacks have become increasingly more common and sophisticated, often using AI to trick people into clicking links and opening the door to otherwise well protected technology environments,” said Ankul.
“A modern, holistic approach to managing cybersecurity is something every organisation needs to consider. And the good news is that AI can also be harnessed as a defense for significantly better threat detection and a faster response.”
Joining Ankul as keynote speakers for the Melbourne event on 23 February will be Microsoft’s Abbas Kudrati (ASEAN Cybersecurity Chief) and Chris Louloudakis (Security Specialist Manager). At the Sydney event on 27 February, will be John Dellinger (US – Chief Security Advisor).
