Dr Migrate features at Microsoft Inspire 2022
Dr Migrate going global
Founding member of LAB3 Andy Lyons recently presented at Microsoft Inspire 2022
This was an opportunity for Lyons to showcase our product Dr Migrate on the world stage and was made possible because of our three-way partnership with technology giants Microsoft and Intel Corporation.
For the uninitiated, Dr Migrate is an Azure migration planning and assessment tool built on automation and machine learning and empowers organisations to accelerate cloud transformation. Dr Migrate supercharges cloud migration and optimisation eliminating the need for manual spreadsheet planning and reducing errors in assessment.
Microsoft Inspire is the largest Microsoft partner event of the year and was keynoted by their inspiring CEO Satya Nadella. Held virtually, it is a worldwide conference with thousands of industry leaders attending. It is an opportunity for Microsoft partners to learn the roadmap for the upcoming year, network, share best practices, and discover the latest product innovations.
Featuring a product at Microsoft Inspire is a big step in launching a product worldwide and forges the growing recognition of LAB3 as a product leader and our impact across the globe.
“It is the dream of many product developers to one day present their unique IP at MS Inspire. It was a privilege for me to have the opportunity to showcase Dr Migrate on behalf of LAB3 and our amazing people who have created the solution. It is a highlight of my career,” says Lyons
The partnership between LAB3, Intel Corporation, and Microsoft has created even greater value for our shared customers. “Critical to our success in going global with Dr Migrate has been fostering strategic partnerships with world class technology providers. This is based on the simple premise – together, we can achieve more to deliver premier solutions for our shared clients,” says Lyons.
“Dr Migrate leverages Azure Migrate or Mouvre, and in the latest twist, we have combined with Intel to optimise a customer’s migration experience. The results are significant, in some instances providing 2x performance gains, whilst also saving hundreds of thousands in licensing and hosting costs,” says Lyons.
LAB3 was invited by Intel Corporation to feature in not one but two of their scheduled sessions at Microsoft Inspire, facilitated of course by Microsoft. Both sessions gave attendees an impressive and on-point overview of how Dr Migrate works.
Luckily, the session with Jennifer Zarate is available to watch ongoing to help organisations and their technology teams quickly grasp the capabilities and advantages.
In establishing LAB3 it was always the goal of the founders to be at the leading edge of cloud technology, and drive innovation from Australian shores. Dr Migrate is already available globally to other technology providers in the Microsoft Partner Network by licence.
In terms of innovation, Dr Migrate is only just the beginning. LAB3 has also waved our innovation wand across other technology areas including in cybersecurity and operational IoT – with our products Security Insight and SensorMine.
